Best Dance Schools for Non-Traditional Students
Texas State University has taken the #1 spot in this year's dance ranking for non-traditional students. Texas State is a very large public school located in the city of San Marcos. Texas State also made our Best Colleges for Dance in the Southwest Region list, coming in at #1.
The student loan default rate at Texas State is lower than is typical, just 2.0% of students default in three years. Approximately 21,921 students take at least one class online at Texas State. There are roughly 8,642 part time students in attendance at Texas State.

Arizona State University - Tempe earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the midsize city of Tempe, ASU - Tempe is a public college with a fairly large student population. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, ASU - Tempe has also earned the #2 rank in our Best Colleges for Dance in the Southwest Region ranking.
About 1.5% of ASU - Tempe students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. Approximately 37,856 students take at least one class online at ASU - Tempe. 8,480 students are part time.

The #3 spot in this year's ranking belongs to Oklahoma City University. Located in the large city of Oklahoma City, OCU is a private not-for-profit college with a small student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at OCU, the school also landed the #3 rank in our Best Colleges for Dance in the Southwest Region ranking.
About 1.3% of OCU students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. Approximately 400 students take at least one class online at OCU. About 356 of the students at OCU are attending part time.

Sam Houston State University earned the #4 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the town of Huntsville, SHSU is a public school with a fairly large student population. SHSU did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #5 on our Best Colleges for Dance in the Southwest Region list.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 1.2%. Approximately 8,795 students take at least one class online at SHSU. 6,353 of SHSU students are attending part time.

In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, UNT has also earned the #4 rank in our Best Colleges for Dance in the Southwest Region ranking.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 1.8%. There are approximately 20,194 students at UNT that take at least one class online. 12,105 students are part time.
