In 2020-2021, 3,103 people earned their degree in fashion design, making the major the 223rd most popular in the United States.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly for Fashion Studies” ranking analyzed 73 colleges that offered a degree in fashion design. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality fashion design programs as well as strong veteran support.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the fashion design program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. See our ranking methodology to learn more.

Out of the 73 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly for Fashion Studies that were part of this year’s ranking, Arizona State University - Tempe landed the #1 spot on the list. ASU - Tempe is a large public school situated in Tempe, Arizona. It awarded 64 ’s fashion studies degrees in 2020-2021.
ASU - Tempe not only placed well in this ranking.
