You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Virginia Commonwealth University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Illustration for a Bachelor’s list. VCU is a large school located in Richmond, Virginia that handed out 111 bachelors’s illustration degrees in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at VCU, the school also landed the #2 spot in our “Best Illustration Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 1 of the 29,070 students enrolled at VCU were GI Bill® students, of which 2 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $13,085. On top of their other funding sources, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend John Brown University. The school came in at #2 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Illustration for a Bachelor’s. John Brown University is a private not-for-profit institution located in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. The school has a small population, and it awarded 12 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.

JBU also made our “Best Illustration Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list, coming in at #4.Our most recent data shows that 56 of the 2,343 students enrolled at John Brown University were GI Bill® students, of which 44 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $11,115. In addition to receiving other benefits, 8 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Ringling College is a small school located in Sarasota, Florida that handed out 90 bachelors’s illustration degrees in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our southeast region bachelor’s degree vets studying illustration list, Ringling College has also earned the #3 rank in our “Best Illustration Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.Among the 1,624 students enrolled at Ringling College of Art and Design, 83 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 36 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $4,571. To help with additional expenses, 35 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program.

Savannah, Georgia is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out bachelors’s illustration degrees to 277 students in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at SCAD, the school also landed the #1 spot in our “Best Illustration Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 193 of the 14,265 students enrolled at Savannah College of Art and Design were GI Bill® students, of which 135 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $20,695. To help with additional expenses, 91 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
