Out of the 2 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for Illustration for a Bachelor’s that were part of this year’s ranking, Kansas City Art Institute landed the #1 spot on the list. Kansas City Art Institute is located in Kansas City, Missouri and, has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 32 bachelors’s illustration degrees to qualified students.

It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for Illustration for a Bachelor’s list. Located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, this small private not-for-profit school awarded 50 degrees to qualified bachelors’s illustration students in 2020-2021.
MCAD also made our “Best Illustration Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Plains States Region” list, coming in at #1.Among the 760 students enrolled at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, 19 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
