Top 8 Best Industrial Design Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Veterans in the Southeast Region
You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Auburn University. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Product Design for a Bachelor’s. Auburn is a large school located in Auburn, Alabama that handed out 39 bachelors’s product design degrees in 2020-2021.
Auburn also made our “Best Industrial Design Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list, coming in at #2.According to our most recent data, Auburn University supports 30,737 students, and 1,499 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 746 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $8,423. In addition to receiving other benefits, 68 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Out of the 8 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Product Design for a Bachelor’s that were part of this year’s ranking, Virginia Tech landed the #2 spot on the list. Blacksburg, Virginia is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s product design degrees to 28 students in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our southeast region bachelor’s degree vets studying product design list, Virginia Tech has also earned the #1 rank in our “Best Industrial Design Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.According to our most recent data, Virginia Tech supports 37,024 students, and 119 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 108 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $12,314. On top of their other funding sources, 0 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
The low undergrad student loan default rate of [DEFAULT_RATE_STRING]% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools. NC State is a large school located in Raleigh, North Carolina that handed out 15 bachelors’s product design degrees in 2020-2021.
NC State not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #7 on our “Best Industrial Design Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list.Among the 36,042 students enrolled at NC State, 1,102 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 493 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $5,886. On top of their other funding sources, 27 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

University of Louisiana at Lafayette ranked #7 on this year’s Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Product Design for a Bachelor’s list. UL Lafayette is a fairly large school located in Lafayette, Louisiana that handed out 18 bachelors’s product design degrees in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at UL Lafayette, the school also landed the #8 spot in our “Best Industrial Design Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 604 of the 16,450 students enrolled at University of Louisiana at Lafayette were GI Bill® students, of which 224 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $5,336. On top of their other funding sources, 4 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Savannah College of Art and Design came in at #8 in this year’s edition of the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Product Design for a Bachelor’s ranking. Located in Savannah, Georgia, this fairly large private not-for-profit school handed out 82 diplomas to qualified bachelors’s product design students in 2020-2021.
SCAD not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #4 on our “Best Industrial Design Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list.Our most recent data shows that 193 of the 14,265 students enrolled at SCAD were GI Bill® students, of which 135 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $20,695. In addition to receiving other benefits, 91 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
