Arizona State University - Tempe tops the 2021 list of our schools in the Southwest Region that are best for non-traditional design & applied arts students. ASU - Tempe is a very large public school located in the medium-sized city of Tempe. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, ASU - Tempe has also earned the #2 rank in our Best Colleges for Design & Applied Arts in the Southwest Region ranking.
The student loan default rate at ASU - Tempe is lower than is typical, just 1.5% of students default in three years. There are approximately 37,856 students at ASU - Tempe that take at least one class online. About 8,480 of the students at ASU - Tempe are attending part time.

University of North Texas earned the #3 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the city of Denton, UNT is a public school with a fairly large student population. UNT also made our Best Colleges for Design & Applied Arts in the Southwest Region list, coming in at #4.
About 1.8% of UNT students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. There are approximately 20,194 students at UNT that take at least one class online. There are roughly 12,105 part time students in attendance at UNT.

Texas Christian University landed the #4 spot in our 2021 best design & applied arts schools for non-traditional students. Located in the city of Fort Worth, TCU is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population. TCU also took the #3 spot in our Best Colleges for Design & Applied Arts in the Southwest Region rankings.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 1.5%. 218 students at TCU are exclusively online. About 317 of the students at TCU are attending part time.

University of Central Oklahoma landed the #10 spot in our 2021 best design & applied arts schools for non-traditional students. UCO is a fairly large public school located in the suburb of Edmond.
