In 2020-2021, 11,385 people earned their degree in theater arts, making the major the 70th most popular in the United States.
At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 9,342 theater arts graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,682 and $26,217 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly for Theater for a Bachelor’s” ranking analyzed 381 colleges that offered a degree in theater arts. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great theater arts programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
