You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Syracuse University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Photography for a Master’s list. Syracuse University is a large school located in Syracuse, New York that handed out 4 masters’s photography degrees in 2020-2021.

Syracuse not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best Photography Master’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” list.Our most recent data shows that 385 of the 21,322 students enrolled at Syracuse University were GI Bill® students, of which 250 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $20,840. On top of their other funding sources, 217 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Rochester Institute of Technology is a fairly large school located in Rochester, New York that handed out 8 masters’s photography degrees in 2020-2021.

The New School is a fairly large private not-for-profit school situated in New York, New York. It awarded 13 masters’s photography degrees in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our middle atlantic region master’s degree vets studying photography list, New School University has also earned the #5 rank in our “Best Photography Master’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking.Of the 9,047 students enrolled at The New School, 117 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 69 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $18,786. During this same period, 51 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. The New School offers credit for military training for eligible students.

The school came in at #4 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Photography for a Master’s. SVA is a small school located in New York, New York that handed out 35 masters’s photography degrees in 2020-2021.

SVA also took the #3 spot in our “Best Photography Master’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 49 of the 3,692 students enrolled at School of Visual Arts were GI Bill® students, of which 31 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Located in Baltimore, Maryland, this small private not-for-profit school awarded 13 degrees to qualified masters’s photography students in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our middle atlantic region master’s degree vets studying photography list, MICA has also earned the #2 rank in our “Best Photography Master’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking.According to our most recent data, MICA supports 1,892 students, and 66 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 45 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $23,802. On top of their other funding sources, 29 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
