Film, Video & Photographic Arts is the 62nd most popular major in the country with 16,778 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, film, video and photographic arts graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $24,170 and had an average of $25,804 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 3,640 film, video and photographic arts graduates with average earnings and debt of $21,607 and $25,427 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Film” ranking looked at 41 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in film, video and photographic arts. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent film, video and photographic arts programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

Columbia, South Carolina is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s film degrees to 111 students in 2020-2021.
