Fine & Studio Arts is the 31st most popular major in the country with 37,413 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, fine and studio arts graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $25,051 and had an average of $25,492 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 6,169 fine and studio arts graduates with average earnings and debt of $23,404 and $26,517 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 5,527 fine and studio arts graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,400 and $27,180 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Fine Arts for a Bachelor’s” ranking analyzed 110 colleges that offered a degree in fine and studio arts. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great fine and studio arts programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
