The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great general visual and performing arts programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

Queensborough Community College is a public institution located in Bayside, New York. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 67 associates’s degrees in 2020-2021.

QCC also made our “Best General Visual & Performing Arts Associate Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” list, coming in at #1.Of the 12,405 students enrolled at Queensborough Community College, 196 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. The school came in at #2 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Visual Arts for an Associate. HACC is a fairly large school located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania that handed out 16 associates’s visual arts degrees in 2020-2021.

It ranked #4 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Visual Arts for an Associate list. BMCC is a fairly large public school situated in New York, New York. It awarded 46 associates’s visual arts degrees in 2020-2021.
