In 2020-2021, 1,175 people earned their degree in music theory and composition, making the major the 390th most popular in the United States.

Across the Southeast region, there were 72 music theory and composition graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Music Composition” ranking, we looked at 14 colleges that offer a degree in music theory and composition. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great music theory and composition programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

This large school is located in Columbia, South Carolina, and it awarded 1 ’s music composition degrees in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at UofSC, the school also landed the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.According to our most recent data, University of South Carolina - Columbia supports 35,470 students, and 1,609 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 651 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
