Out of the 4 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Voice for a Master’s that were part of this year’s ranking, Texas Christian University landed the #1 spot on the list. Fort Worth, Texas is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out masters’s voice degrees to 3 students in 2020-2021.

TCU not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #2 on our “Best Voice Performance Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.Our most recent data shows that 520 of the 11,379 students enrolled at Texas Christian University were GI Bill® students, of which 405 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $23,096. In addition to receiving other benefits, 343 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Central Oklahoma. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Voice for a Master’s list. Located in Edmond, Oklahoma, this fairly large public school handed out 4 diplomas to qualified masters’s voice students in 2020-2021.

UCO not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #4 on our “Best Voice Performance Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.Among the 14,132 students enrolled at UCO, 934 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 428 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $6,062. On top of their other funding sources, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Southern Methodist University. The school came in at #3 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Voice for a Master’s. Southern Methodist University is a fairly large private not-for-profit school situated in Dallas, Texas. It awarded 4 masters’s voice degrees in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at SMU, the school also landed the #3 spot in our “Best Voice Performance Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” ranking.According to our most recent data, SMU supports 12,373 students, and 327 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 215 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $15,612. To help with additional expenses, 103 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Houston, Texas is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out masters’s voice degrees to 11 students in 2020-2021.

Rice also took the #1 spot in our “Best Voice Performance Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” ranking.Of the 7,643 students enrolled at Rice, 157 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 80 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $18,656. To help with additional expenses, 68 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
