Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent visual & performing arts programs, but they also offer a lot of support to non-traditional students.

University of Southern California has taken the #1 spot in this year's visual & performing arts ranking for non-traditional students. Located in the large city of Los Angeles, USC is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population. USC did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #3 on our Best Colleges for Visual & Performing Arts in the Far Western US Region list.
The student loan default rate at USC is lower than is typical, just 0.5% of students default in three years. There are approximately 15,291 students at USC that take at least one class online. 6,687 students are part time.

University of Nevada - Las Vegas earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. UNLV is a fairly large public school located in the midsize city of Las Vegas.
