The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great visual and performing arts programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

New York, New York is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out associates’s visual and performing arts degrees to 128 students in 2020-2021.
New School University not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best Visual & Performing Arts Associate Degree Schools” list.According to our most recent data, The New School supports 9,047 students, and 117 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 69 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
