Visual & Performing Arts is one of the most popular majors in the nation, ranking 10th of all the majors we analyze. In 2020-2021, 149,215 degrees were awarded to students with this major. In 2019-2020, visual and performing arts graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $26,700 and had an average of $25,051 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Far Western US region, there were 28,715 visual and performing arts graduates with average earnings and debt of $27,203 and $24,726 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 7,082 visual and performing arts graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,803 and $17,868 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for Visual & Performing Arts for an Associate” ranking analyzed 15 colleges that offered a degree in visual and performing arts. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great visual and performing arts programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
