Across the Great Lakes region, there were 19,622 visual and performing arts graduates with average earnings and debt of $26,942 and $26,129 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 1,594 visual and performing arts graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,077 and $19,490 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Visual & Performing Arts for an Associate” ranking, we looked at 15 colleges that offer a degree in visual and performing arts. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent visual and performing arts programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Visual & Performing Arts for an Associate list. Dayton, Ohio is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out associates’s visual and performing arts degrees to 82 students in 2020-2021.
