When pursuing a degree in today’s world, veterans have many different options to choose from. In 2019-2020, visual and performing arts graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $26,700 and had an average of $25,051 in loans still to pay off.
Across North Carolina, there were 4,508 visual and performing arts graduates with average earnings and debt of $24,820 and $24,919 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 419 visual and performing arts graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,987 and $17,467 respectively.

The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in North Carolina for Visual & Performing Arts for an Associate. Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, this fairly large public school awarded 68 degrees to qualified associates’s visual and performing arts students in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our north carolina associate degree vets studying visual & performing arts list, Central Piedmont Community College has also earned the #1 rank in our “Best Visual & Performing Arts Associate Degree Schools in North Carolina” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 619 of the 16,668 students enrolled at Central Piedmont Community College were GI Bill® students, of which 301 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $1,195. In addition to receiving other benefits, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Central Piedmont Community College offers credit for military training for eligible students.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Wake Technical Community College. The school came in at #2 for the Most Veteran Friendly in North Carolina for Visual & Performing Arts for an Associate. Raleigh, North Carolina is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out associates’s visual and performing arts degrees to 91 students in 2020-2021.
Wake Technical Community College not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #2 on our “Best Visual & Performing Arts Associate Degree Schools in North Carolina” list.Of the 21,760 students enrolled at Wake Technical Community College, 1,066 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 564 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $1,224. On top of their other funding sources, 6 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.
