Our “Most Veteran Friendly in Vermont for Visual & Performing Arts” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2020-2021, 149,215 visual and performing arts students received their degree, making the major the 10th most popular in the country. In 2019-2020, visual and performing arts graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $26,700 and had an average of $25,051 in loans still to pay off.
Across Vermont, there were 553 visual and performing arts graduates with average earnings and debt of $27,602 and $26,217 respectively.

Out of the 4 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in Vermont for Visual & Performing Arts that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Vermont landed the #1 spot on the list. Champlain College is a private not-for-profit institution located in Burlington, Vermont. The school has a small population, and it awarded 121 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.
