With all of the options veterans have for higher education today, it can be tough to choose which direction to take. Our mission at College Factual is to arm you with as much information as we can to help you make that decision. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in Georgia for Visual & Performing Arts” ranking is one tool we have developed to help in this regard.
In 2020-2021, 149,215 visual and performing arts students received their degree, making the major the 10th most popular in the country. In 2019-2020, visual and performing arts graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $26,700 and had an average of $25,051 in loans still to pay off.
Across Georgia, there were 5,160 visual and performing arts graduates with average earnings and debt of $25,566 and $26,958 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Georgia for Visual & Performing Arts” ranking looked at 14 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in visual and performing arts. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality visual and performing arts programs as well as strong veteran support.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the visual and performing arts program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.

Out of the 14 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in Georgia for Visual & Performing Arts that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Georgia landed the #1 spot on the list. This large school is located in Athens, Georgia, and it awarded 374 ’s visual and performing arts degrees in 2020-2021.
