Our Methodology
To determine the value of a school in our Best Master's Degree Colleges for the Money in Illinois ranking, we first add average tuition, fees, and room and board costs (without aid) together.

To account for this we consider a college's overall Best Colleges ranking which itself looks at a collection of various factors like degree completion, educational resources, student body caliber and post-graduation earnings for the school as a whole.
