Our 2021 rankings named University of Maine the best affordable school for Canadian students in Maine working on their bachelor’s degree. This fairly large public school is located in Orono, Maine, and it awarded 2,012 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Around 3.7% of the total student population at the school is international. The top three countries sending students to study at UMaine are China, Canada, and Saudi Arabia. International students at UMaine can expect to pay, on average, about $33,586 a year to attend the school. Graduate students pay around $29,490 a year in average tuition and fees.

The excellent bachelor’s degree programs at University of Maine at Fort Kent helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the best schools for Canadian students in Maine. University of Maine at Fort Kent is a small public school located in Fort Kent, Maine that handed out 228 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
