Our analysis found University of Houston to be the best affordable school for Vietnamese students in the Southwest Region in this year’s ranking. Located in Houston, Texas, the large public school handed out 8,890 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
International students make up 7.0% of the total student body at the school. The top three countries sending students to study at UH are India, China, and Vietnam. International students at UH can expect to pay, on average, about $21,891 a year to attend the school. The average tuition and fees for graduate programs is $18,871 per year.
The school has an excellent freshman retention rate of 86%, which means students like the school well enough to return for a second year.
