Our 2021 rankings named Northwestern University the best school for Peruvian students in the Great Lakes Region working on their bachelor’s degree. Northwestern is a private not-for-profit institution located in Evanston, Illinois. The school has a large population, and it awarded 2,722 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
International students make up 16.3% of the total student body at the school. Students from as far away as China, India, and South Korea come to Northwestern to study.
The student-to-faculty ratio of 6 to 1 is a sign that students will have more opportunities to engage with their professors one-on-one.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend University of Chicago. The school came in at #2 in this year’s ranking. UChicago is a fairly large private not-for-profit school situated in Chicago, Illinois. It awarded 2,163 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
International students make up 26.6% of the total student body at the school. Students from as far away as China, India, and South Korea come to UChicago to study.
Students who start out at the school are likely to stick around. The freshman retention rate is 100%.

Out of the 13 schools in the Great Lakes Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Michigan - Ann Arbor landed the #3 spot on the list. Located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the large public school awarded 9,144 diplomas to qualified bachelor’s degree students in 2020-2021.
Around 13.9% of the total student population at the school is international. Students studying at U-M come from such countries as China, India, and South Korea.
With a freshman retention rate of 96%, the school does an excellent job of retaining its students.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Dayton. It ranked #4 on our 2021 Best Colleges for Peruvian students in the Great Lakes Region list. This fairly large private not-for-profit school is located in Dayton, Ohio, and it awarded 2,123 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Of the total number of students at the school, 8.5% are international. The top three countries sending students to study at UDayton are China, Saudi Arabia, and India.

With a ranking of #12, Andrews University did quite well on the 2021 Best Colleges for Peruvian Students in the Great Lakes Region. Berrien Springs, Michigan is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 347 students in 2020-2021.
Of the total number of students at the school, 23.4% are international. The top three countries sending students to study at Andrews are South Korea, Canada, and Brazil.

University of Indianapolis ranked #13 on this year’s Best Colleges for Peruvian Students in the Great Lakes Region list. Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, the medium-sized private not-for-profit school handed out 977 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Around 5.6% of the total student population at the school is international. The top three countries sending students to study at UIndy are Saudi Arabia, India, and China.
