After analyzing 10 schools in the Southwest Region , we came up with our list of those that offered the best educational experiences for Ukrainian students in the Southwest Region. Our ranking is based on several objective factors, including the school's overall quality and the total number of international students at the school. We steer clear of subjective measures since they don't give a clear picture when determining how one school compares to another.

Our 2021 rankings named The University of Texas at Austin the best school for Ukrainian students in the Southwest Region working on their bachelor’s degree. The University of Texas at Austin is a large public school located in Austin, Texas that handed out 10,592 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Around 8.3% of the total student population at the school is international. Students studying at UT Austin come from such countries as China, India, and South Korea.
With a freshman retention rate of 97%, the school does an excellent job of retaining its students.

Out of the 10 schools in the Southwest Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Texas A&M University - College Station landed the #2 spot on the list. College Station, Texas is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 13,409 students in 2020-2021.
International students make up 6.4% of the total student body at the school. Students from as far away as China, India, and South Korea come to Texas A&M College Station to study.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Oklahoma Norman Campus. It ranked #4 on our 2021 Best Colleges for Ukrainian students in the Southwest Region list. Located in Norman, Oklahoma, the large public school awarded 5,069 diplomas to qualified bachelor’s degree students in 2020-2021.

University of the Incarnate Word did quite well in the 2021 Best Colleges for Ukrainian Students in the Southwest Region ranking, coming in at #8. UIW is a private not-for-profit institution located in San Antonio, Texas. The school has a medium-sized population, and it awarded 1,054 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Around 3.1% of the total student population at the school is international. Students from as far away as Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and China come to UIW to study.
