In 2020-2021, 35,945 people earned their degree in health sciences and services, making the major the 34th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, health sciences and services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $35,887 and had an average of $24,736 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Far Western US region, there were 8,237 health sciences and services graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,093 and $22,816 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for Health Science” ranking looked at 72 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in health sciences and services. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great health sciences and services programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
