You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Johnson & Wales University - Providence. The school came in at #2 for the Most Well Attended Culinary Science Major. JWU Providence is a medium-sized school located in Providence, Rhode Island that handed out 12 ’s culinary science degrees in 2020-2021.

Out of the 13 schools in the Most Well Attended Culinary Science Major that were part of this year’s ranking, Drexel University landed the #4 spot on the list. Drexel is a large private not-for-profit school situated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It awarded 9 ’s culinary science degrees in 2020-2021.
With a freshman retention rate of 88%, the school does an excellent job of retaining its undergraduate students. The undergrad student loan default rate at the school is 1.9%, which is quite low when compared to the national default rate of 10.1%.
