This year's Highest Paid Psychology Graduates in the Great Lakes Region ranking analyzed 129 colleges that offered a bachelor's degree in psychology.

In this ranking, we use early career salaries - salaries 10 years from when a student started college. This is the salary typically earned 4-6 years after graduation, but may be different depending on how long a person takes to complete their degree.

Comparing Average Salaries of Psychology Majors

After graduating, psychology majors that go to school in the Great Lakes Region go on to jobs making an average of $27,806 per year. If salary is one of the most important things on your career list, you may be disappointed to hear that this is 30% less than the salary of a typical college graduate.

The national average salary for psychology bachelor's degree holders is $28,141. That's pretty close to the average for students who get their degree from a school in the Great Lakes Region .
