You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Liberty University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly for Religious Ed for a Doctorate list. Liberty University is located in Lynchburg, Virginia and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 18 doctorate’s religious ed degrees to qualified students.
Liberty University also took the #7 spot in our “Best Religious Education Doctor’s Degree Schools” ranking.Of the 93,349 students enrolled at Liberty University, 13,282 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 8,897 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $4,888. To help with additional expenses, 386 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

Located in Washington, District of Columbia, this medium-sized private not-for-profit school handed out 1 diplomas to qualified doctorate’s religious ed students in 2020-2021.
CUA did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #3 on our “Best Religious Education Doctor’s Degree Schools” list.Among the 5,366 students enrolled at CUA, 196 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary is a private not-for-profit institution located in Kansas City, Missouri.
