In 2020-2021, 554 people earned their degree in sacred music, making the major the 273rd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, sacred music graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $30,993 and had an average of $27,000 in loans still to pay off.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly for Sacred Music” ranking looked at 42 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in sacred music. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent sacred music programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Liberty University. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly for Sacred Music. Lynchburg, Virginia is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out ’s sacred music degrees to 130 students in 2020-2021.
Liberty University also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Of the 93,349 students enrolled at Liberty University, 13,282 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. University of Notre Dame is located in Notre Dame, Indiana and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 11 ’s sacred music degrees to qualified students.
Notre Dame did well in our major quality rankings, too.
