After analyzing 15 schools in the Rocky Mountains Region , we came up with our list of those that offered the best educational experiences for Nigerian students in the Rocky Mountains Region. Our analysis found University of Denver to be the best school for Nigerian students in the Rocky Mountains Region in this year’s ranking. This fairly large private not-for-profit school is located in Denver, Colorado, and it awarded 1,689 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Of the total number of students at the school, 4.5% are international. The top three countries sending students to study at DU are China, Saudi Arabia, and India.

The excellent bachelor’s degree programs at Brigham Young University - Provo helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the best schools for Nigerian students in the Rocky Mountains Region. Provo, Utah is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 6,871 students in 2020-2021.
International students make up 3.5% of the total student body at the school. Students from as far away as Canada, South Korea, and China come to BYU to study.
With a freshman retention rate of 92%, the school does an excellent job of retaining its students.

A rank of #3 on our list means Colorado State University - Fort Collins is a great place for Nigerian students in the Rocky Mountains Region working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in Fort Collins, Colorado, the large public school handed out 5,528 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
International students make up 4.9% of the total student body at the school. Students studying at Colorado State come from such countries as China, India, and Saudi Arabia.

Salt Lake City, Utah is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 5,437 students in 2020-2021.
Of the total number of students at the school, 7.2% are international. Students studying at U of U come from such countries as China, India, and South Korea.
Students who start out at the school are likely to stick around. The freshman retention rate is 89%.

With a ranking of #9, University of Colorado Denver/Anschutz Medical Campus did quite well on the 2021 Best Colleges for Nigerian Students in the Rocky Mountains Region. CU Anschutz is a public institution located in Denver, Colorado. The school has a large population, and it awarded 2,889 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
