Our 2021 rankings named Brigham Young University - Provo the best school for Russian students in the Rocky Mountains Region working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in Provo, Utah, the large private not-for-profit school awarded 6,871 diplomas to qualified bachelor’s degree students in 2020-2021.
Around 3.5% of the total student population at the school is international. The top three countries sending students to study at BYU are Canada, South Korea, and China.
With a freshman retention rate of 92%, the school does an excellent job of retaining its students.

The excellent bachelor’s degree programs at University of Colorado Boulder helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the best schools for Russian students in the Rocky Mountains Region. CU - Boulder is a large public school situated in Boulder, Colorado. It awarded 7,404 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
International students make up 6.4% of the total student body at the school. Students studying at CU - Boulder come from such countries as China, India, and Saudi Arabia.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Utah. It ranked #3 on our 2021 Best Colleges for Russian students in the Rocky Mountains Region list. University of Utah is a large public school located in Salt Lake City, Utah that handed out 5,437 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Of the total number of students at the school, 7.2% are international. Students studying at U of U come from such countries as China, India, and South Korea.
The school has an excellent freshman retention rate of 89%, which means students like the school well enough to return for a second year.

Out of the 8 schools in the Rocky Mountains Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Colorado School of Mines landed the #4 spot on the list. This medium-sized public school is located in Golden, Colorado, and it awarded 1,066 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Of the total number of students at the school, 8.6% are international. Students from as far away as China, India, and Saudi Arabia come to Mines to study.
Students who start out at the school are likely to stick around. The freshman retention rate is 92%.

A rank of #5 on our list means Colorado State University - Fort Collins is a great place for Russian students in the Rocky Mountains Region working on their bachelor’s degree. This large public school is located in Fort Collins, Colorado, and it awarded 5,528 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Around 4.9% of the total student population at the school is international. The top three countries sending students to study at Colorado State are China, India, and Saudi Arabia.

University of Denver came in at #6 in this year’s edition of the Best Colleges for Russian Students in the Rocky Mountains Region ranking. This fairly large private not-for-profit school is located in Denver, Colorado, and it awarded 1,689 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Of the total number of students at the school, 4.5% are international. Students from as far away as China, Saudi Arabia, and India come to DU to study.

University of Wyoming did quite well in the 2021 Best Colleges for Russian Students in the Rocky Mountains Region ranking, coming in at #7. UW is located in Laramie, Wyoming and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 2,364 bachelor’s degrees to qualified undergraduates.
International students make up 4.3% of the total student body at the school. Students from as far away as China, India, and Canada come to UW to study.

With a ranking of #8, Brigham Young University - Idaho did quite well on the 2021 Best Colleges for Russian Students in the Rocky Mountains Region. Located in Rexburg, Idaho, the large private not-for-profit school awarded 5,977 diplomas to qualified bachelor’s degree students in 2020-2021.
Around 17.5% of the total student population at the school is international. Students from as far away as Canada, Mexico, and Brazil come to BYU - I to study.
