In 2020-2021, 718 people earned their degree in Chinese language and literature, making the major the 518th most popular in the United States.
Across the Far Western US region, there were 177 Chinese language and literature graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively. University of Hawaii at Manoa is located in Honolulu, Hawaii and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 13 bachelors’s Chinese language degrees to qualified students.

UO also took the #6 spot in our “Best Chinese Language & Literature Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Far Western US Region” ranking.Of the 21,752 students enrolled at University of Oregon, 582 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 314 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $11,688. On top of their other funding sources, 25 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.
The low undergrad student loan default rate of [DEFAULT_RATE_STRING]% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools. For comparison, the national default rate is 10.1%.

University of the Pacific is a private not-for-profit institution located in Stockton, California. The school has a medium-sized population, and it awarded 3 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.
